It has become a common term to say „I feel born in the wrong body.“
I think it’s wonderful, that people who feel this way can express their feelings with this term.
I also think, that it is highly important for everyone who feels like „all people should go their own way and all different kinds of humans must be accepted“ to go out there and stand PROUD with your opinion.
People with an opinion like that just ROCK!! You are gorgeous!!! Don’t let anyone EVER tell you that it is NOT OKAY to stand by someone.
Acceptance is all we need to give, to make someone feel wanted in this world! It’s a really strong thing and it should not be kept for yourself!
You accept people for who they are? It’s wonderful! Go tell them!! It will make them so much stronger to fight for themselves and you will be empowered by that good feeling which makes you stronger to fight your own fears and difficulties in life.
It’s not important to be like somebody it’s just important to accept them even if the both of you are completely different!
Because we ALL are born different from another.
It’s just media, religion, politics, society and other powerful things out there telling us for a long time, that some differences like skin colour and sexuality are more important and „worse“ differences than someone liking ketchup and the other one liking mayonnaise.
But it’s exactly the same thing.
Would you say you can’t live with someone that prefers a pink tooth brush over a blue one – because that’s just not normal?
Would you say you can’t eat on the same table with someone who wears grey underwear? You now think: „Well, I can’t even see that in that moment – so why would it matter anyway??“ True that.
Would you eat on the same table with that person if they said you can only eat together if you wear grey underwear, too? Probably not and that’s alright because acceptance does not mean that you have to do the things you accept. You don’t even have to agree with them!
But what’s the difference between someone wearing grey underwear and someone following a religion? Why do we compromise somebody for their religion if they don’t even try to make us believe their way of life?
That does NOT mean I think it’s a good idea to use religion for killing people, or hurt them or anything like that. It would make me really sad if someone would lay that into my words!! If you think that you should read the text AGAIN.
I think people can feel „born wrong“ because of soooo many things, not just gender!
I often feel born in the wrong LANGUAGE.
Do I have to like German best just because I am born a German?
I feel like I should have had English as my mother tongue.
For me, English has all the words I need to express my feelings. I feel it’s an easier language. A language that connects people on a different level. I also like that they don’t have something like our „Sie“. I think our „Sie“ is often used as a shield.
I respect people because they have real authority and because they earned that by what they can do, know are have already achieved.
Not because of the „Sie“.
I am using both languages.
I do respect both languages and every other one.
And I think we should handle EVERYTHING that way.
And I am not perfect people! Actually I am FAR from perfect.
I DO forget that everything should be accepted the same sometimes!
I get mean sometimes. But it get’s less and less and I am working on that every day!
And if we all do, it will make a HUGHE difference!
